This masterpiece was created for ‘twitch’, a short film produced in Hawke’s Bay. It’s a fiction about an artist secretly battling to tame his autonomous left hand that keeps painting masterpieces.
Mauricio Benega and Jil of Aotearoa have collaborated in painting two different styles on one canvas, inspired by the Art Deco buildings in Napier.
The painting is also sold as a limited edition digital print on canvas, and a portion of the sale will go towards developing a feature film based on ‘twitch’.
