One of my favourite surf spots here in Hawke's Bay is the inspiration behind this new work. It's early days yet, but I would say a few months to be all done.
Cray Bay is a left hand point break on a rocky point, located a long walk south over the hills from Waimarama Beach. The wave is big and powerful, with a steep drop in and hollow barrels.
